In vertical machining centers of the UP series, a design methodology based on FEM (Finite Element Analysis) simulation and optimization has been adopted, enabling comprehensive optimization of the machine tool’s overall rigidity. The machine tool’s dynamic performance has been enhanced. The machine tool features a compact overall structure, a large working area, a small footprint, and high space utilization.
The machine’s structure features a fixed-column design with a cross-slide table. The machine body employs an extra-large, robust base and high-rigidity, wide-span V-shaped columns, enabling high-speed cutting. Doesn't vibrate or deform when sharpened.

 

1. The spindle features an HSK double-sided constrained tapered shank, simultaneously meeting the requirements for ultra-high rigidity and ultra-high-speed machining. It is equipped with a high-standard CNC system to achieve high-speed, high-precision control. Additionally, it incorporates a high-precision electric spindle with excellent dynamic response, which is conducive to high-precision machining.

2. Full-body cooling: By circulating cooling oil, the entire machine body—including the spindle, lead screws, and bed components—is cooled, ensuring stable machining accuracy.

3. The machine tool’s pneumatic system adopts a closed-loop design, which is simple and aesthetically pleasing. This effectively prevents dust and impurities from entering, ensuring stable machine operation and extending the machine tool’s service life. The water tank has a large capacity and provides excellent filtration performance.

4. High-rigidity design featuring high-strength cast iron materials, a bed base and column structure with a large span—providing a solid foundation and stable performance for the machine tool’s machining capabilities.

5. The machine tool features a simple and compact structural design with a small footprint. It is suitable for various production environments, easy to manufacture, and effectively saves space resources. To facilitate daily inspections, the pneumatic unit, lubrication unit, and cooling unit are centrally arranged, enhancing the convenience of operation, maintenance, and servicing.

6. All machine tool structural components are cast from high-quality resin-sand molds and high-strength cast iron materials, and undergo a secondary annealing treatment to ensure high rigidity and stability of the structure.
