The Guangdong International Robot and Intelligent Equipment Expo (referred to as “Smart Expo”) is approved by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and organized by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province and the People’s Government of Dongguan City. It is undertaken by the Bureau of Economy and Information Technology of Dongguan City, the People’s Government of Houjie Town, and Hong Kong Xuntong Exhibition Co., Ltd. The expo adopts an innovative exhibition model characterized by “government-led organization and enterprise-driven exhibition” and follows a development approach that is “market-oriented, internationalized, and professional.” Positioned as a specialized annual expo centered on high-end, advanced robots, intelligent equipment, and their components—both domestically and internationally—the Smart Expo has been held three times since 2015. Hosting the Smart Expo is an important initiative for implementing the “Made in China 2025” strategy and promoting the development of the robotics and intelligent equipment industries by aligning supply with demand.
The 2019 DMP Dongguan Smart Manufacturing Expo will be held from May 8 to 11 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center (Houjie). The exhibition area will cover approximately 80,000 square meters, bringing together over a thousand well-known enterprises from home and abroad to compete on the same stage.
