On the afternoon of November 16, Xiegang Town held a town-wide conference on the development of the non-public sector economy. The meeting aimed to thoroughly study and implement the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the development of the non-public sector economy, convey the spirit of the Dongguan Conference on the Non-Public Sector Economy, and deliberate on and deploy specific measures for the development of the non-public sector economy in Xiegang Town. Attending the meeting were approximately 270 representatives, including Hu Yifeng, Secretary of the Xiegang Town Party Committee; Su Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Town Mayor; Luo Shuhua, Chairman of the Town People’s Congress; other members of the town’s leading team; heads of relevant departments; representatives from various villages (communities); and responsible persons from large-scale industrial enterprises.
At the meeting, the town committee and town government recognized enterprises that had received special support awards and interest subsidies for doubled loans. Harvest Star, as the leading local private industrial enterprise in Xiegang Town, focuses on mid-to-high-end CNC machine tools and intelligent equipment solutions, building a full-industry-chain manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, sales, production, and service. In 2017, the Xiegang Town government allocated a special fund of 3.299 million yuan to support Harvest Star; in 2018, a special fund of 1.4626 million yuan has been allocated so far for loan interest subsidies.
Subsequently, the conference invited Mr. Zhou Wenyuan, Chairman of our company, to deliver a speech as a representative of entrepreneurs. Chairman Zhou Wenyuan pointed out that Dongguan City’s issuance of the “Several Policies on Further Supporting the High-Quality Development of the Non-Public Sector” has enabled our non-public enterprises to maintain composure and boost confidence, allowing us to focus wholeheartedly on development.
